Welcome to SBA!
Scott Business Association began over 30 years ago when the little town of Scott, which was incorporated in the beginning 1900’s, became the “City of Scott” in 1990. Since its inception, there have been many changes, but one thing that has held true is our commitment to our lovely community. We have always been dedicated to the betterment of businesses and citizens of Scott. Our allegiance to Scott has only grown stronger over the years.
Proudly, in 2012, the Louisiana Legislature designated Scott as the “Boudin Capital of the World” due to Scott having more Boudin purveyors than anywhere in the state! Couple this
with Scott having some of the most prominently known boudin makers, and we were a shoo-in for the title. Scott is second to none when it comes to Boudin and we wear the title boldly!
Should you be interested in moving to Scott, or should you reside in Scott already, we encourage you to check out the businesses within our community. Our Members are the reason we exist. Without your support and assistance, we would not be able to provide the number of services to the community we have all these years. We are pleased to offer you a space to network, socialize, and build relationships within our community.
Business Incentives
All members of SBA in good standing can sign up for Business Incentives, for free! We will place your business on our site and Facebook indicating that your business is willing to give a discounted rate when other SBA Members come to you for services.
Social Events
Social Events offer an excellent arena to meet your business neighbors and join forces. We have several socials each year and numerous lasting relationships have been established in this manner. Consider what you do in your business and look through our Business Directory. Would a business complement yours in making excellent referrals to each other? Go say hello!

Our Mission is simple. A secure and prosperous community begins with strong leaders. And strong leaders build businesses up. That’s what we intend to do. As President and the face of Scott Business Association, I intend to uphold every level of commitment to the City of Scott and our surrounding areas just as I have dedicated my life to being a sworn officer of the law. I don’t take commitment frivolously and my pledge to you and to the Board and Members of SBA is to solemnly give my oath of dedication to the betterment of businesses and citizens of the community of Scott.
