How We
Can Help

Tired of paying for advertising and not feeling a return on your investment? We understand. We know times have been difficult, especially since the pandemic. Everything from groceries, fuel, medications, and vehicles has increased. And so has the cost of advertising. This is what prompted the Board of Directors, your board, to sit down and devise a plan to cool off a little of the heat. Scott Business Association has decided to invest in a new website and a little social media marketing, because not only do we believe in our beautiful City of Scott, but we believe in you. That’s why we created Business Incentives long ago.

So how can this “incentive program” benefit you and your business?

One quick answer.

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS!

Why Offer Incentives?

Build Brand Awareness

When a member signs up for SBA’s Business Incentives, this allows other businesses to see what services you provide, already knowing what you are willing to give away to earn their initial business. In return, you can also see what they offer to you. While there are many benefits to offering discounts, (within reason), the #1 reason to sign up for SBA’s Business Incentives is to increase brand awareness and get your business noticed by other members.  Isn’t that essentially advertising? Only, it’s free!

How to Participate

Determine what your business can offer to other SBA Members and add that to the form. Once your profile is approved. your business is added.

  1. Discounted rate on services, merchandise, or products.
  2.  Reward program to keep them coming back.
  3. Seminars to teach others what you do. You can do this at your business, at their business, or offer it online.
  4. Should you be one against giving discounts, perhaps offer a percentage of sales to a local charity of their choice?
  5. Schedule one-on-one consults if you are in a field where advice or strategy can be given.
  6. Meeting other locals gives you the opportunity to combine your efforts. “Purchase a cake from Betty Bakery and receive 3 free roses from our neighbor, Flo’s Florist.” In this situation, Flo might offer Betty roses at her cost if Betty’s customer shows up with a receipt in hand. Betty is one who doesn’t want to give a discount or give anything away in her store and Flo is happy to give Betty roses at her cost because it drives people to her store.

Have an Idea? We're All ears!

“The Issue We Face is Most Locals Are Unaware Of What Our Neighborhood Businesses Offer. We Are Here To Close That Gap.”
